2018 Council Candidate for Blackheath Westcombe ward

Thomas Turrell has been re-selected as a Conservative candidate in Blackheath Westcombe, having contested the ward at the last elections in 2014. Thomas works in Financial Services and lives locally on Kidbrooke Park Road with his wife. Generations of his family have come from the area and his dad started school locally at Invicta.

Thomas has previous experience of serving his community; having been a School Governor, an NHS Governor and trustee of two local charities; he also has experience of being Vice-Chair of a national charity. Thomas is an established local campaigner in the community, having worked with the Blackheath Royal Standard Business and Traders Association to oppose Greenwich Council's Pavement Tax and planned Parking Charges and led a successful campaign to increase capacity on the 108 bus route. You can follow Thomas on twitter @ThomasFTurrell.
