Councillor Dorothy Mepsted, who has represented the Coldharbour and New Eltham area for over 20 years, has decided to retire from the Council at the next election.  

 

Plumstead residents fed up with crime

Recently your Conservative Action Team surveyed over 1,000 residents in the Plumstead Common area and found that crime was among the top issues you were concerned about. 77% of residents surveyed said crime blighted their lives.

 

Montbelle School site awaits appeal decision

George Wimpy, developers of the old Montbelle School site are appealing against the decision of the Council's planning committee not to give planning consent to the proposed development for the location.
