Boris Johnson wins mayoral vote

Boris Johnson has been elected as the Conservative candidate for London Mayor. Over 20,000 people voted in the election, and Boris received 79% of the votes.

A delighted Boris said, "I'd like to thank Londoners for giving me this opportunity."

"As I visited all of London's 32 boroughs in the last few weeks, the message is loud and clear - King Newt's days are numbered."
