Adam Thomas visits Avery Hill Nursery open day

Conservative Councillor Adam Thomas recently visited the Avery Hill Nursery's open day to look at best practice in early years education.  The nursery is considered to be an outstanding child care facility in the borough and at the moment offers child care for students studying at Greenwich University and the Avery Hill campus.

Polls opened today across Greenwich for both the General Election and Greenwich Borough Elections. Today is the day that you can Vote for Change in Greenwich, in total you have four votes.

Making your mind up in West Greenwich

With less than a day of campaigning left for all parties it is time to make your mind up.

The figures from the last election for which ward figures are available are from the GLA Elections in 2008 show that only the Conservatives can beat Labour here to change Greenwich West.

The percentage of the vote then was as follows:

Greenwich Conservatives would improve local schools

Sadly Greenwich has been in the bottom 10 in the country for most of the last 8 years and the worst in London for most of that time at Secondary level. Conservatives think that after nearly 40 years the Labour run Council has had enough time to try to improve the schools.
