Eltham North Conservatives Tea and Cake this weekend proved an enormous success with Conservatives from across the borough meeting on a lovely sunny afternoon in Paul and Janet's garden.

Government puts limit on Council’s leaseholder charges

Cllr Spencer Drury, Parliamentary Candidate for Eltham has welcomed a new law that will cap the amount councils can charge leaseholders for future repairs to their homes.

Big falls in unemployment across Greenwich

Greenwich Conservatives have welcomed new official figures this week showing big falls in unemployment across Greenwich.

In the Eltham parliamentary constituency there are now 767 fewer people relying on Jobseeker's Allowance than in July 2010, a fall of 34%. In Greenwich and Woolwich, there are now 1,024 fewer claimants, down 30% in the same period.
