Bromley Conservatives are delighted to announce the appointment of Councillor Will Rowlands to the position of Executive Member for Environment on Bromley Council. Councillor Rowlands, who is one of the ward councillors for Mottingham, has served in various capacities within the Environment portfolio. He vacates his position of Environment Committee Chairman following the resignation of Councillor Aisha Cuthbert; who has been selected as the parliamentary candidate for Sittingbourne and Sheppey at the General Election.
Speaking after his appointment, Councillor Will Rowlands said: "It is a delight and huge honour to be appointed to the Environment Portfolio. As elected members, we are the custodians of the Borough, with a willing to preserve and strengthen Bromley for the future generations which come. I know from living, representing residents, and operating a small gardening business in Bromley, that the Environment is at the absolute core of all that makes Bromley the green, bright and beautiful place we are fortunate enough to live - and I very much look forward to continuing the excellent work already undertaken by Councillor Cuthbert to ensure Bromley remains the beautiful and green garden of London which we call home.”
